Cherrie is a California Board licensed, NCCAOM Certified Licensed Acupuncturist, and Licensed Massage Therapist. She became interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine through personal experience with her own health and as a natural progression to her career as a Massage Therapist.
Cherrie graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City with a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. She incorporates Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Electro-Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Medicial Massage Therapy and more in her treatments of patients. She is a general practitioner with a special interest in musculoskeletal disorders, pain management, orthopedics, anxiety, digestive disorders and women's health. She is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Fellow at Emporer's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine, and is currently involved in a research project in Integrative Medicine.
As a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM/TOM) practitioner, her objective is to unite the best knowledge of both systems, TCM and Western Biomedicine, focusing on corrective and preventative care in order to help achieve optimum health.
